Dr. Marylou Kelsum starts off on the voyage of a lifetime; a 14 month assignment exploring the ocean floor on a gigantic, state-of-the-art research submarine.  Her excitement about being on board the Skomal’s maiden voyage is tempered when she initial suspects and unwanted admirer.  But that is nothing compared to the horror that she uncovers shortly after they arrive at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean.
