Episode 35. "Spartan" Steve Odom

Send us a textSteve Odom has been a friend of Raven Wing since the very beginning. A USMC Veteran where he was an infantryman, fireteam leader and squad leader, and was awarded the Nave and Marine Corps Medal for heroism. Also a retired Sgt. from the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office, Steve spent 17 years on the SWAT team and was twice awarded the Medal of Valor. Steve has been a law enforcement firearms instructor for more than 27 years and was the Senior Range Master for the Sheriff's Office. He is P.O.S.T. certified to instruct essentially every use of force discipline including: Handgun, Shotgun, Sub Machine Gun, Long Range Rifle, Less Lethal Baton, Red Dot Sight Pistol, FBI Firearms instructor, Less Lethal Munitions, Advanced Taser and Vehicle Counter Measures. A lifelong martial artist, studying Muay Thai, western boxing and Brazilian Jui Jitsu. He boxed competitively at an amateur level and holds a blue belt in BJJ. He is currently the CEO and Lead Instructor of Spartan Tactical Solutions firearms training company in San Luis Obispo, CA.
