Overcoming self-doubt
Self-doubt is something that almost everyone experiences at one point or another, but when you struggle with your mental health, it can feel even more intense and can present itself in the strangest of situations. It's a waste of energy, extremely uncomfortable and, often, completely pointless - none of that stops it from ingraining itself in our lives though. In this epsiode, I talk about self-doubt in careers and relationships, discuss my own experiences, and present a range of tools that I've found help when it comes to managing self-doubt and building confidence. How to stop self-sabotaging, I ran a half-marathon & a catch-up
What have I been up to lately? Well... somehow it simultaneously feels like I've been incredibly busy but also doing not a lot. Maybe this is adult-hood... between work, relationships, fitness, and navigating the ups and downs of mental health it doesn't feel like there's much space for anything else. Who knows. What I do know though is I can't wait to drink lots of cocktails and have SO much fun this summer, so those other things better learn to cooperate. In this episode, I chat about my weekend. I talk about my recent half-marathon and the (long) process of going from hardly being able to run 1km to where I'm at now (over 6 months later).I talk all things self-sabotage (classic) and rant about how much I LOVE learning about it because I recently assessed the progress I've made in the past two years and I am STOKED. Lastly, I chat non-negotiables. I'm not talking in relationships, I'm talking with ourselves. Tune in to hear more.
