Ep84: Sliding Doors with Sarel

Sarel is a Presenter, Podcaster, Actor and comedy star of TikTok, with over 1 million combined followers. She is probably best known as one-half of the critically acclaimed podcast Closet Confessions with Candice Brathwaite which has taken the podcast world by storm as one of the biggest shows in 2023. She has starred on stage and screen including a 26-show run at Edinburgh and her TV debut in Sky Comedy's 'Smothered'. As a presenter, Sarel has hosted numerous events and red carpets for some of the biggest UK premieres and brands including TikTok and BAFTA.

In this episode Sarel discusses the journey she has been on to get to where she is today and how faith and hard work have played the biggest part. We chat about the Sliding Doors decision her parents made to leave Zimbabwe when she was a child and how different her life would be if they had stayed. She delves into the incredible moment she decided to turn things around for herself at university and how if she hadn't, becoming a Preacher would have been her path! Sarel has an amazing outlook on life and is an inspiration on how if you work hard, take risks and commit to your dreams- they really do come true!
