Lucien Bertens uit Genk wordt in 1953 geboren in Zuid-Congo als kind van een blanke koloniaal en een zwarte Congolese vrouw. Op zijn vierde stuurt zijn vader hem naar België. Een beslissing met zware gevolgen voor de band tussen vader en zoon.

Bacongo Limburg is een podcast van audiomaker Eva Droogmans op vraag van Erfgoedcel Mijn-Erfgoed.
