In this week’s episode, Rob Reed speaks to Antoni Tuniewicz one of the owners of the Tradewell Snooker Club in Hull. Antoni is passionate about cue games; snooker in particular. He is a strong advocate for people enjoying snooker while they learn how to play it really well and is a WPBSA World Snooker trained coach. Antoni believes atmosphere is key in a snooker hall. No more bleak and dreary clubs filled with smoke; Antoni has transformed Tradewell into a welcoming environment through the use of innovative lighting where people from all walks of life are welcomed.
For Antoni, it’s paramount that players have a fantastic time playing snooker and he goes the extra mile to make cue sports attractive to everyone; from teenagers to 78 year old cue sport enthusiasts. Antoni is from a military background and he talks about his transition from the military to the snooker world and his vision of what a snooker club should be.

About the hostRob Reed is a World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association (WPBSA) World Snooker accredited snooker coach, the founder of RR Cue Cases and CueZone. He trained as a rotary pilot in the British Army before turning his passion for snooker into a new entrepreneurial journey.
About the guestAntoni Tuniewicz is member of the military forces who now runs the Tradewell Snooker Club in Hull. Following a career in the British Army as a radio operator in the Royal Logistics Corps (RLC), Anthony went on to work with the Royal Veterinarian Corps where he became a dog trainer. After his transition into a career in security after leaving the military, Antoni found himself a great business opportunity in a run down old snooker club in Hull. Since turing the Tradewell Snooker Club around, Antoni qualified as a WPBSA World Snooker coach.
