Episode #7: The Silver Halide Sessions - Danielle Wrobleski: The Girl With Too Many Cameras
The Ephemeral Machine presents another in the series of The Silver Halide Sessions: Interviews with Collectors, Aficionados, Historians, and Archivists.
This episode we return to the Silver Halide Sessions with a visit from celebrated Photographer, Collector, Writer and Advocate, Danielle Wrobleski. Danielle’s Instagram presence “girlwithtoomanycameras” combined with her advocacy work involving #Womeninfilmwednesday and The Film Sorority have made her an invaluable asset to women photographers and the Film Photography Community in general.
I chatted with Danielle about her camera collection, its development and growth. She revealed her likes, dislikes, and favorites and how her choice of camera influences her aesthetic.
And finally, I approach her IG moniker "girlwithtoomanycameras" head on and ask the difficult question..."Is Too Many Cameras actually a thing?"
