Antisocial behaviour, Woking’s borrowing and the IFS’s Kate Ogden on outdated funding models
This week deputy editor Martin George is joined by senior reporter Megan Kenyon and head of content Kirsty Weakley to discuss whether councils are doing enough to deal with antisocial behaviour.
They also talk about councils lending money to Woking, even after its financial difficulties began to emerge.
Later in the podcast Kirsty is joined by Kate Ogden, senior research economist at the Institute for Fiscal Studies, to share the findings of some research about how well local government funding is distributed.
