Børnefattigdom i Danmark er stigende. Det estimeres at mellem 50.000 og 60.000 børn lever i fattigdom, men tallet fordobles hvis man også medregner de børn der lever lige over den såkaldte mediangrænse. 

Redaktør for Social Kritik, Mette Bladt, taler med direktør for ’Enestående forældre’, Maria Blankensteiner. En forening der arbejder for at hjælpe forældre med meget knappe ressourcer.
