25th: 12/09/11 Conglomerate harassment of small business--Marlborough Market, Quality Mart

Here’s something I wrote on my WordPrees blog, “whilehomeless,” on December 7, 2011, on the page called “12/07/11: Cathedral High School/news vans/more harassment.  I added the bold print:

Marlborough Ave: it looks as if the conglomerate has ripped up the road in front of it, in front of the Marlboro Market.  Caution cones everywhere, a vehicle parked there.  A Boston Water and Sewer (check spelling) commission truck parked on the opposite corner.

It seems to me that the conglomerate is trying to intimidate the small businesses in areas where I am a lot.

December 9, 2011 More and more conglomerate construction activity keeps getting added to that street, in front of the Marlboro Market.  The street is completely blocked off.  Yesterday, I walked past the Marlboro Market from the other side of Mass. Ave..  Not only was Marlborough Street (it’s Marlborough Street, not Marlborough Ave.) completely blocked off, there was a construction vehicle there, turned sideways so that the numbers on it, “PC 150-5” could be read from the other side of the street.  There was also an NSTAR vehicle next to it. Today, there’s more; some kind of vehicle that deals with trees parked along Mass. Ave. on that corner, in addition to the fact that they’re still ripping up Marlborough Street in front of the Marlboro Market. I haven’t bought anything at the Marlboro Market; it doesn’t take food stamps.  However, I have bought things with my food stamps at the Quality Mart, which is one block up.  Today, there was a Popchips van parked in front of the Quality Mart, one block up from the Marlboro Market.   Copyright L.
