Nearly 5000 years ago an advanced civilization emerged on the Mediterranean island of Crete that would come to dominate the seas. Although they left behind a plentiful supply of artifacts, palaces, and artwork, it was not until its rediscovery in the modern age that they were finally called the Minoans. On this episode we discuss the lost empire of the Minoans.
