The plight of the so-called ‘Accidental Americans” was voted on this week in the European Parliament.
MEPs in Strasbourg voted for a resolution calling on the European Commission and EU countries to come to an arrangement with the US to ensure people aren’t unfairly landed with a tax bill from the US tax authorities - the IRS.
