CSLP 2: Advising student debt repayment when clients temporarily lose income

Jantz discusses a number of issues facing student loan borrowers. This episode was recorded during the government shutdown where federal workers weren't paid. Failing to make even one student loan payment can have a negative effort on those working toward Public Service Loan Forgiveness. 

Also discussed are the issues of job loss and how to deal with income-driven repayment. Borrowers need to submit new requests for repayment and adjust as their income changes. Jantz also covers some of the new loan repayment assistance programs for specialty work in certain professions and locations across the U.S.
