Ricardo discusses the step by step process from inception to pre-production to shooting to post-production and eventual release of the documentary Great White Shark Legend (co-directed by Rachel Lacombe), a documentary which aims to dispel the myths around White Shark behavior as portrayed in the media. The film features prominent South African shark experts such as Rob Lawrence, Alison Kock, Brandon Kilbride and the groups own Dirk Schmidt.

What does it take as an independent film-maker on a low budget to find your way to producing and directing a film about Great White sharks? Ricardo shares his experiences, stories, attitudes to sharks, and offers advice and invitation to anyone with a story to tell about sharks! YOU too can make a shark film and this podcast will delve into how.

This feature length episode features clips and music from the film in a real insight into writing and filming a fresh look at the misunderstood apex predator, the Great White Shark, and you can continue the story!
