Lazarus Theatre Company - Spotlight on
Arts:Performing Arts
Today Ricky and Gavin talked to the wonderfully multi-talented Micha Colombo. Micha is an 'actor, writer, storyteller and voice artist based in the South-West and very happy to say is a Lazarus Associate Artist. Micha’s Lazarus Journey began with a double bill of Shakespeare’s Troilus and Cressida and Coriolanus under the banner of “Our World at War” which played as part of The Camden Fringe at the Tristan Bates Theatre in 2014. She then went on to be a part of the ill fated 2014 production of Henry V which was cancelled due to my run in on my bike and a sports car door! Micha was also part of our semi staged reading on Polly by John Gay directed by Sara Reimers. It was then 3 years later when Micha returned to the stage with us as Prospero in our 2019 production of The Tempest. As well as being a fantastic performer, ensemble member and company supporter Micha has written and directed stage work, written poetry and has even gone to the dark side and into theatre management!
Stay tuned at the end of the episode for Queen, a poem written and read by Micha.
