Act 5 Episode 3: Cattle Herding the Jade Bulls of Heaven

Prasad is an empire famed for its riches of both money and magical jade, so naturally our Circle's first target is one of their most lucrative jade mines! Or, it used to be...Dragonblooded of the Realm and elsewhere don't have the powersets to counter the esoteric tricks our heroes can use. But Prasad has always been more...accepting of outside divine help. And today, that includes the Exigent of Ahlat, the Southern God of War. Alongside another mighty demon, and the most potent elemental destruction Charm in the toolkit, and that secret fake Gavel corpse Liminal, and...you get the idea, this won't be an easy first engagement!

 

Gavel gets added to a fun new group chat, and suffers a bizarre spiritual injury that Lythander actually CAN'T fix! Aura finally gets do some ranching against enemy cattle, and takes on Lythander's position of having massively swingy dice rolls! Lythander fights a nemesis he doesn't remember making, and begins to waver on the nightmare task of corralling Spider! The Ashen Ones fight a foe even deadlier than a Third Circle Demon and an entire Wyld Hunt: cows! Prasad did not come in with kid gloves today, and to survive the turntables is step one of even THINKING of firing all the gang's dominos!
