Today we are using an Epictetus quote to talk about control. Control is an elusive and fickle thing because the more control we believe we have over our things and situation in life, often means the less control we have. All we can really control are our actions. Somethings we cannot even fully control our thoughts. Look no further to that annoying song many of us get stuck in our heads. The more we try to be in control, the more we open ourselves to disappointment.
So today I challenge you to not get caught up trying to be in control, just enjoy the day and focus on your actions and reactions.
