On today's podcast episode we're diving into what it looks like when you're tangling up your own self-worth and your child's journey.
Full transparency, this used to be me.
Even though I had been practicing yoga and intense spiritual devotion for many years, I didn't even realize I was doing this until my coach called me out on it.
How did it show up in my life?
-I’d feel sad when Rocco had an off day and use it as an excuse to flog myself mentally, allowing the "you're not good enough or doing enough" thoughts to pull me out of my confidence.
-I’d tell myself I didn’t deserve to be successful/happy until he was “fixed” and start attracting challenges in my life to prove that true.
And so much more.
