Elder Chris turns to John 15:9 where we read “As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.” He points out how Christ is the true vine, the Father takes care of the vine, and we are the branches that bring forth fruit. We are pruned through trials to bring forth more fruit. Our love is fickle that is not as committed as his love to us, but we are called the sons and daughters of God and we should not take that love for granted.
