Ever since he was a baby, I always walk into my son’s room after he’s asleep and before I go to bed. I make sure he’s okay, kiss his forehead and then exit. When he was 10, after the kiss on the head he sits up and says “Dad…I think I’m alright with New Hampshire now” and goes back to sleep.
