The #CallHerAuntyPodcast continues to celebrate Black History month and in this episode we have our Cree and Trinidadian relative, Tasha Spillet! Tasha is an author, educator, mother and soon to be doctor. Listen in to this episode as we talk to the author of the young adult graphic novel series Surviving the City, volume 1 (which won the Best Work in an Alternative Format at the 2019 Indigenous Voices Awards) about motherhood, post-secondary education and setting up healthy boundaries. We believe that Black History should continue to be shared, discussed and celebrated 365 days of the year - however, like we said before ... we won't turn down a reason to celebrate our relatives!
