On today's podcast episode we're talking about the biggest mindset blocks parents face when raising a special needs child and it’s not what you think.
It’s sneaky, insidious, and very often imposed on you by others. The great news is you get to choose whether you take it on as your own. Much like a gift you’ve been given, you get to decide whether to receive it or send it back.
Admittedly, it took me a while to uncover this mindset issue since it’s not one I struggle with personally. Call me a Pollyanna, but I believe the sky is the limit for these neurodiverse humans. But not every parent feels the same, usually because their hopes have been squashed by the people who should actually be uplifting them.
This episode is incredibly powerful regardless of your child’s diagnosis or the challenges and stereotypes they face in every day life.
