Today on the take on board podcast, I'm speaking with Karen Tisdell, about LinkedIn and what board directors need to know about using LinkedIn for networking and being visible to board searches. Many of you already know that I'm a fan of LinkedIn, today, you'll get to hear from somebody else about why it's important.
Karen says: "I started using LinkedIn in 2005, I was an early adopter, using LinkedIn to headhunt for people and went on maternity leave was a bit bored, had an argument with my husband about returning to work. And so now just start writing LinkedIn profiles from home, and it has just grown and grown and grown. So I do also do quite a bit of LinkedIn training as well. But LinkedIn profile writing is my core thing. So I'm really thrilled to be giving lots of tips to your audience today."
