Just Between Us: I Stopped Proving I Could Do It All Alone

First-born children, where you at? Today we're diving into what happens when the hyperindependent folks among us finally (begrudgingly?) let our loved ones help us. We're sharing the vulnerable, visceral moments when we interrupted our default patterns, stopped white-knuckling it, and actually let ourselves be supported in real moments of need. Being self-sufficient has its perks, but it can also be a barrier to closeness. In this episode, we talk about how some of our closest relationships have transformed once we admitted that we couldn't, in fact, do it all alone.
