This week, Lex is joined by Shay D. A London based rapper, who’s recent release ‘Speaking in Tongues’ reflects the development of an artist who’s been bubbling and releasing, and championing women in rap for time. Shay started in the spoken word space, running her own poetry nights - she also founded and led the first all-female UK hip-hop tour, and is a champion for underrepresented voices in all space. She’s genuinely so lovely but also so creative and a hustler in the best sense of the word. Shay D on the hot girls podcast.
