When starting out, you may be wondering which medium is best to put your energy in to. Is it video? Is it audio? Is it written? Is it a combination?
The truth is, there’s not one that is better than the other overall. Each consumer, takes in information differently, and each creator produces content differently.
If you are a stronger writer than you are a speaker, then start with blogging.
If you are a stronger creator with video than writing, then do video content.
If you are stronger with just speaking rather than being in front of a camera or writing, then focus on audio.
You will want to focus on your strengths. Too often, you don’t start something because you’re not confident in your ability to do the task. So, in order to start, start with your strengths. You can always learn the other mediums as you go, but don’t let the fact that you’re not strong in one area, keep you from creating content around your message and mission.
