Is this what a forever war looks like?

Donald Trump's MOU with Iran was supposed to stop the war and then end it.  

Now it's barely worth the paper it's written on. The bombing has resumed. The Strait of Hormuz remains largely shut. And now the conflict is spreading to the Red Sea, with the Houthis declaring a blockade on Saudi shipping.  

So, is this what a forever war looks like?
