Dr. Turner Osler, a seasoned academic trauma surgeon at the University of Vermont Medical Center, identified a pressing issue in our society that revolves around constant sitting. He noticed the negative impact of extended periods of static and unnatural posture, which not only affect our immediate health but can also curtail our lifespan. Convinced that we could and should sit better, Turner committed to making a change.

With a wealth of knowledge gained over his long career as a physician and researcher, and the collaborative support of a talented team of furniture designers and bodywork specialists, Turner embarked on a mission to transform the sitting experience into one that promotes health.
