This morning Ryan and Tamara are sitting down with GDU member and owner of Value Garage Door Service and Pax Supply, Jesse Redinger. Jesse and Ryan are both serial entrepreneurs and run several businesses. Learn about the challenging aspects of running multiple companies, Jesse and Ryan's advice on keeping sane, and why asking what your price should be is a bad idea.
Jesse started VGDS in 2012 after feeling held back while working for a franchised national garage door company. He underestimated the challenges of running a business; there are so many variables and considerations, especially as you're adding members to the team. But they've turned it into a multi-million dollar business, and the door industry has treated he and his family well, and they've been fortunate enough to be in a position to buy a second company. Pax Supply is a hardware/lumber store that supplies custom lumber packages and materials, and they're also getting into other verticals. Excited to see what the future brings!
