How to do this life hack:
- Set a timer for 1 -5 minutes (if you go to hard to soon you will burn out)
- Sit down & close your eyes
- Draw your attention to the sensation of the breath entering and leaving the nose
- When a thought, emotion, feeling or anything else distracts you, gently return your focus back to the breath.
Why it will work for you:
- By constantly returning your focus back to the breath, you are training your ability to focus on the present moment. Like the gym, the more you train mindfulness, the better you will get at it.
