๐ญ๐ณ (๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐ก๐ฎ๐ธ๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐๐๐ฐ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ฐ, ๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ฎ)" was given by Sis Sylvia Bay at the invitation of Buddha Dhamma Mandala Society (BDMS) via zoom meeting on 14 August 2020. This is the edited and annotated version. Acelakassapa Sutta SN 12.17 traced how ascetic Kassapa who was practising extreme mortification where nakedness was part of the practice, was awakened by the Buddha. Sis Sylvia Bay deciphered the cryptic nature of the conversation between Buddha and Kassapa, where Buddha replied, "It is not that I do not know and see suffering, Kassapa. I know suffering, I see suffering." where Buddha used conditionality to trigger Kassapa's awakening. In the same manner, Sis Sylvia highlighted why we are shackled by dukkha and yet, there is non-self.
