On today's podcast episode we’re looking at a topic that matters to you no matter how old your child is.
In February 2022 the CDC quietly changed their guidelines for three important milestones in childhood development and it rubbed many people the wrong way. Additionally, they did so without consulting professionals who work with children in a hands on fashion and it stirred up pushback from thousands of speech therapists and occupational therapists.
I have a very special guest, speech pathologist Brittany Bohach, joining me in this episode to ensure you receive both parent and professional perspectives. Neither of us are here to tell you what to do or how to feel. Instead, our goal is to present relevant information to you so you can advocate for your child’s unique needs regardless of what the masses are doing.
