Many people wear masks to show the world one thing, when on the inside they may feel much different. When it comes down to it, most people have insecurities and are afraid to let others know their "real" self. This can lead to negative feelings of unworthiness, being fake, or that we are never good enough.
In order to build authentic and deep relationships with people we have to remove our masks, embrace our weirdness and allow ourselves to be vulnerable. Some people may not like the "real you," but that's OK. Those who do will L-O-V-E you.
If you feel like you are wearing a mask you shouldn't be wearing, have the courage to take it off and be authentically you. Embrace your weirdness and "Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken" - Oscar Wilde.
