In this episode, we explore how ZeroAvia are working on decarbonising aviation using hydrogen. Jon and Sandra talk with Sergey Kiselev, Chief Business Officer at ZeroAvia, a UK/US-based company developing a hydrogen-fuel cell powertrain for light and medium-sized aircraft and Brendan Murphy, Head of Hydrogen at LCP Delta.
Sergey Kiselev is Chief Business Officer at ZeroAvia – a leading innovator in decarbonising commercial aviation, focused on the development of a hydrogen fuel cell powertrain for commercial flights. Sergey is based out of the company’s facility at Cotswold Airport in Kemble, UK.
Prior to joining ZeroAvia, Sergey led the European operations of eMotorWerks, which developed smart vehicle-grid integration hardware and software and was acquired in 2017. eMotorWerks’' JuiceBox Smart EV charging station is still the best selling product in its category in the United States for the last 5 years.
A decade leading into this, Sergey worked as a partner at McKinsey, focusing on energy, sustainability and the public sector. Sergey obtained his PhD and conducted postdoctoral research in experimental low temperature physics and nanomagnetics at Cornell University in the US.
