The Keep It Local Maine Podcast
Business
We had a great conversation with Maine childrens author Anna Crowley Redding for this week's episode as we talked about her newest book, whether or not chowder should contain tomatoes, her writing process, going from reporter to writer, what inspires her, and much more!
ABOUT OUR GUEST:
Before diving into the deep end of writing for children, Anna Crowley Redding’s first career was as an Emmy-award winning investigative television reporter and journalist. The recipient of multiple Edward R. Murrow awards and recognized by the Associated Press for her reporting, Anna now focuses her stealthy detective skills on digging up great stories for young readers — which, as it turns out, is her true passion. Anna is the author of four published books and has five more on the way! Her first book, Google It, was named the best STEM book of 2019 by the National Science Teacher Association. She currently lives outside Portland, Maine.
