We have endurance athlete Andy Persson on the podcast this week who just completed the hallucinogenic 200 mile Tunnel Ultra, a mind bending event held by race director Mark Cockbain.

Andy likes to stretch himself in different directions competing in mountainous events such as the Dragons Back which is a 315km 5 day stage race with around 15,500m of ascent , the lengthy Jogle which is John O’Groats to Lands end which is around 1500km is distance, he also completed the southwest costal path last year with the third fastest time the first being held by UTMB legend Damian Hall, and he toed the line in Big Dog’s Back Yard Ultra last year after hitting 40hrs in Castleward and with a bit of luck he will get to take his place in this years Big’s.
