Ep #120 - You are on a journey. You are in higher education because you seek something higher for yourself than you currently have. This isn't a linear goal, one that goes in a straight line. There are twists and turns and curves and high and lows. The idea that everything is fluid and is happening simultaneously can be a bit Matrix-y to wrap your head around.
As you journey from who you are toward who you desire to be, it is crucial you place ample awareness around who you are being as you seek to achieve your massive goal. Being an unpleasant person while you work toward attaining your goal will push people away. Expecting that you will snap your fingers, like a hypnotist snaps someone out of a hypnotic state, and just be a more desirable, better version of yourself once you achieve your goal is highly unrealistic.
You dig these grooves into your unconscious mind around the behaviors that you find acceptable in your life and if these behaviors are what gets you to where you want to go then why would your mind want to change these behaviors once you reach your success? Your mind thinks behaving this way is what got you here so there will be tremendous push back to changing these behaviors down the road when you find it more advantageous to do so.
Seek to be the version of yourself you want to be then...now. This is about you being your highest sense of self and doing it right now, today.
