David started off as a property investor and soon realized that he was a better property manager than investor, so he changed gears and built a brokerage firm that specializes in property management.

- Look for references and referrals
- Make sure the property manager is an expert in rentals
- Ask for tenant screenings
- Find out if they specialize in the area
- Make sure they have a valid Fidelity Fund Certificate
