Stop chasing the mythical person who is going to discover you, finance you, or finally give you permission to make your movie.

Think strategically.

Instead of spending $10,000, $50,000, or even $150,000 on a short film, sizzle reel, or proof of concept hoping someone says yes, ask a different question:

What movie can I make right now that moves me toward the career I actually want?

AJ and I get into:

• Why filmmakers can lose a decade chasing one project
• Why a finished feature changes the conversation
• Why waiting for financing can sometimes be fear disguised as strategy
• Why your first movie does NOT need to be your masterpiece
• Why failure is part of building a real filmmaking career

You don’t need permission to become a filmmaker.

You need to make films.
