Athletes are known to make thousands of split-second decisions in their sport. They have been training their entire lives to make these incredibly fast decisions. When it comes to making decisions outside of their sport, it can be harder to slow that process down, as they haven’t always practiced doing this as much as they’ve practiced their sport. This discussion will share a repeatable and comprehensive personal decision-making model upon which life decisions can be built. Once an athlete (or others) understand this simple process, it can be practiced to allow for muscle memory when it comes to making informed decisions outside of sports.
