Live and Kicking

Brandon Chowdhurie comes from a family of musicians and has been hosting Lunchtime Live for three years, promoting the music of local artists from a variety of genres from Folk to Rock. After a short break Brandon is back on a new day and timeslot. Each week Brandon interviews local artists providing an in depth look at the Perth local music scene. These artists then perform their original music tracks live in the studio with special acoustic performances. Live and Kicking, your place for live, local music!

Thursday Kick Back

Thursday Kickback has been a part of the fabric of 89 7FM since 2016. Hosts Rhonda and Alan play a variety of great music from all genres from the 60’s to now, plus a number of interactive listener segments. These segments include a weekly theme (which includes listener requests), two feature artists, jokes, a good news story, “Believe it or not” and “On this Day in Music History”.
