Star Wars

Dec 21st, 2025 7:27 PM

There are two stars fighting for your soul… and most people don’t realize which one they’re following. In this powerful, eye-opening message, Pastor Shane Wall uncovers the hidden Star Wars happening in the spiritual realm — a battle between the Star of Bethlehem and the inverted star of rebellion. To learn more about The Feast of the Lord, visit us online at www.orangeburgchurch.com Here are the author's notes from this week's message: Star Wars [But] he who commits sin [who practices evildoing] is of the devil [takes his character from the evil one], for the devil has sinned (violated the divine law) from the beginning. The reason the Son of God was made manifest (visible) was to undo (destroy, loosen, and dissolve) the works the devil [has done]. 1 John 3:8 AMPC *- Christmas is more than a season, it’s a revelation of a war between two kingdoms. *- In Matthew 2, God placed a symbol in the sky to announce that the true King had come. 2 Where is He Who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the east at its rising and have come to worship Him. 9 When they had listened to the king, they went their way, and behold, the star which had been seen in the east in its rising went before them until it came and stood over the place where the young Child was. 10 When they saw the star, they were thrilled with ecstatic joy. Matthew 2:9-10 AMPC *- But while God used His star to point people to Christ, the enemy throughout history has attempted to use his star to point people away from Christ. 12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! 13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. 15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. 16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; Isaiah 14:12-16 KJV *- Star Wars, this message's title, is a spiritual reality: The war between the Star of Bethlehem and the inverted star of satanic rebellion. *- The world uses stars to symbolize rebellion — an inverted star where flesh dominates spirit. But God placed His star in the sky to symbolize truth, guidance, and worship. One star leads to self; the other leads to the Savior. What did God’s star represent? *- God’s Direction: It moved—leading the wise men step by step. God never leaves His people wandering. *- God’s Revelation: The star pointed only to Jesus—never to itself. It revealed Heaven’s plan, not man’s desires. *- God’s Invitation: The star was God saying: Follow this light and you will find the Savior to worship. The enemy cannot create—he can only invert and pervert what God makes. Just as God used a star to reveal Christ, satan promotes a corrupted star to conceal/hide Christ. The inverted pentagram symbolizes: matter over spirit rebellion over obedience—rejection of God self-will and self-exaltation over God’s will the kingdom of darkness over light It is used in: satanism occult rituals witchcraft demonic symbolism *- Where God’s star lifts people to worship, the enemy’s star pulls people into self-worship, which leads to confusion, deception, and bondage. *- There are two stars in the spiritual realm: *- God’s star — points to Jesus *- Satan’s star — points to self *- God’s star invites worship. *- Satan’s star invites rebellion. *- God’s star illuminates. *- Satan’s star darkens. *- God’s star guides. *- Satan’s star misleads. *- God’s star brings joy. *- Satan’s star brings bondage. *- God’s star reveals the King. *- Satan’s star rejects the King. *- Every thought that we believe is a good idea that brings light to what we should do must be brought to the light of Jesus Christ to ensure God's Spirit is leading us. This is the spiritual Star Wars happening in every generation. Now, God asks: Whose star are you following? The star that leads to worship? Or the star that leads to rebellion? The star that leads to Jesus? Or the star that leads to self? Lifework Assignment: *- Christmas is God’s reminder that He put His star in the sky to defeat every false star that rises against Him. Just as God moved the star to guide the wise men, ask the Holy Spirit to guide you. Follow His light. Reject every counterfeit light. Choose the star that leads to your destiny, not your destruction. Expected Behavior: *- Just as the star stood over the place where Jesus was, He stands over your life saying: “Here is where you will find Me.” *- If you want to follow the Light of the world and reject every false light — every inverted star of rebellion — God is calling you to worship like the wise men. Come to Jesus. Come to the true Light. Come to the Star that will never lead you astray from God’s will and safety for your life.

Make Life Simple Again, Part 7

Dec 14th, 2025 6:20 PM

God is loving. God is merciful. But God is also holy — and He does NOT hear every prayer. This sermon dismantles one of the most dangerous lies in modern Christianity: “God understands… so I don’t have to change.” To learn more about The Feast of the Lord, visit us at www.orangeburgchurch.com Here are the author's notes from this week's message: Make Life Simple Again Part 7 *- One of the best ways to make life simple again is to intentionally avoid certain people. The foolishness of man subverts his way [ruins his affairs]; then his heart is resentful and frets against the Lord. Proverbs 19:3 AMPC *- “Stay away from people who act like a victim in a problem that they created…” *- “My antidote to that is… spend more time with people with whom you have a common future, instead of a common past.” -Bishop Dale Bronner Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:19 AMPC *- A primary reason we fail to live simple lives is that we complicate the present and the future by dragging the past into them. We reconnect what no longer fits—what’s no longer a part of who we are now—and disrupt the peace and simplicity God works to give us. Go from the presence of a foolish man, when thou perceivest not in him the lips of knowledge. Proverbs 14:7 KJV 24 Make no friendships with a man given to anger, and with a wrathful man do not associate, 25 Lest you learn his ways and get yourself into a snare. Proverbs 22:24-25 AMPC 4 [They will be] treacherous [betrayers], rash, [and] inflated with self-conceit. [They will be] lovers of sensual pleasures and vain amusements more than and rather than lovers of God. 5 For [although] they hold a form of piety (true religion), they deny and reject and are strangers to the power of it [their conduct belies the genuineness of their profession]. Avoid [all] such people [turn away from them]. 2 Timothy 3:4-5 AMPC 11 As a dog returns to his vomit, so a fool returns to his folly. 12 Do you see a man wise in his own eyes and conceit? There is more hope for a [self-confident] fool than for him. Proverbs 26:11-12 AMPC *- God does not require us to be in the company of those who are… • determined to remain in foolishness. • committed to destructive, ungodly behavior. • unwilling to change their ways. • living in rebellion and deceit. • choosing sin over repentance. *- Does God actually agree with these actions? *- Yes, because He does the same… The face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. Psalm 34:16 KJV 1 Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened at all, that it cannot save, nor His ear dull with deafness, that it cannot hear. 2 But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear. Isaiah 59:1-2 AMPC Then will they cry to the Lord, but He will not answer them; He will even hide His face from them at that time, because they have made their deeds evil. Micah 3:4 AMPC The Lord is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous. Proverbs 15:29 KJV Lifework Assignment: *- Since a friend is someone God places in our lives to express His love through, and they allow Him to do so, take careful note of those who live according to God’s will—from whom you can draw strength, wisdom, and understanding. *-Also, take note of those who refuse to live according to God’s will and should be avoided. *- Yet, we continue to pray that all will soon obey God and serve Him with strict obedience. Expected Behavior: 14 But if anyone [in the church] refuses to obey what we say in this letter, take note of that person and do not associate with him, so that he may be ashamed. 15 Do not regard him as an enemy, but simply admonish and warn him as [being still] a brother. 2 Thessalonians 3:14-15 AMPC

To learn more about The Feast of the Lord, visit us online at www.orangeburgchurch.com Here are the author's notes from this week's message: Make Life Simple Again Part 6 *- God wants to cause some people who are listening to this message to become rich and some wealthy. *- Some people believe that being rich will make life simple for them. Paying bills when we have more than enough money left over may make life easier, but it may not make life simpler. But you shall [earnestly] remember the Lord your God, for it is He Who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day. Deuteronomy 8:18 AMPC *- God gave you $3 million. Afterwards, you would… Give Tithes and Offerings Pay Taxes Become Debt Free Bless Others *- Then, what would you do with the rest of the money? Prayerfully write a plan. *- Also, with the income you currently have coming in, do you have a plan—one that you’ve prayerfully received and documented? *- What can we do to ensure God trusts us with the riches and wealth He desires to give us, without allowing those blessings to weaken our relationship with Him or our faithfulness to all He asks of us? 8 Will a man rob or defraud God? Yet you rob and defraud Me. But you say, In what way do we rob or defraud You? [You have withheld your] tithes and offerings. 9 You are cursed with the curse, for you are robbing Me, even this whole nation. 10 Bring all the tithes (the whole tenth of your income) into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and prove Me now by it, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. 11 And I will rebuke the devourer [insects and plagues] for your sakes and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground, neither shall your vine drop its fruit before the time in the field, says the Lord of hosts. 12 And all nations shall call you happy and blessed, for you shall be a land of delight, says the Lord of hosts. Malachi 3:8-12 AMPC 24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to go into the kingdom of heaven. 25 When the disciples heard this, they were utterly puzzled (astonished, bewildered), saying, Who then can be saved [from eternal death]? 26 But Jesus looked at them and said, With men this is impossible, but all things are possible with God. Matthew 19:24-26 AMPC 6 [Remember] this: he who sows sparingly and grudgingly will also reap sparingly and grudgingly, and he who sows generously [that blessings may come to someone] will also reap generously and with blessings. 7 Let each one [give] as he has made up his own mind and purposed in his heart, not reluctantly or sorrowfully or under compulsion, for God loves (He takes pleasure in, prizes above other things, and is unwilling to abandon or to do without) a cheerful (joyous, “prompt to do it”) giver [whose heart is in his giving]. 8 And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation]. 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 AMPC [Instead of repairing the breaches, the officials] make a feast for laughter, serve wine to cheer life, and [depend on tax] money to answer for all of it. Ecclesiastes 10:19 AMPC 19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, you have many good things laid up, [enough] for many years. Take your ease; eat, drink, and enjoy yourself merrily. 20 But God said to him, You fool! This very night they [the messengers of God] will demand your soul of you; and all the things that you have prepared, whose will they be? 21 So it is with the one who continues to lay up and hoard possessions for himself and is not rich [in his relation] to God [this is how he fares]. Luke 12:19-21 AMPC

Make Life Simple Again, Part 5

Dec 4th, 2025 1:37 AM

Most people aren’t spiritually drained because life is hard… They’re drained because they’re running from the assignment God already revealed. Your peace, clarity, and next season are on the other side of obedience. Stop running. Start walking in what God chose YOU for. This message will realign your spirit, sharpen your faith, and push you back into the calling Heaven placed on your life. To learn more about The Feast of the Lord, visit us online at orangeburgchurch.com Here are the author's notes from this week's message: Make Life Simple Again Part 5 You crown the year with Your bounty and goodness, and the tracks of Your [chariot wheels] drip with fatness. Psalm 65:11 AMPC *- “This year will not end before every obedient one receives what God promised they would receive this year. God will crown this year, before it ends, with abundance and goodness for you.” *- A simple life is one where what God says is believed and acted upon. Yes, though I walk through the [deep, sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort me. Psalm 23:4 AMPC *- Why do atmospheres we’re not familiar with cause fear? Situations we don’t normally live in—yet suddenly face—leave the way we choose to respond completely in our hands. Virtually everyone responds based on who or what they believe will solve the situation. *- What would make life simple for us is having financial freedom, fulfilling our destiny, and maintaining great health. *- In order to enjoy all of this, we must first learn to discipline ourselves—especially our fleshly, human nature that constantly desires to engage in what is evil. 14 We know that the Law is spiritual; but I am a creature of the flesh [carnal, unspiritual], having been sold into slavery under [the control of] sin. 15 For I do not understand my own actions [I am baffled, bewildered]. I do not practice or accomplish what I wish, but I do the very thing that I loathe [which my moral instinct condemns]. 16 Now if I do [habitually] what is contrary to my desire, [that means that] I acknowledge and agree that the Law is good (morally excellent) and that I take sides with it. 17 However, it is no longer I who do the deed, but the sin [principle] which is at home in me and has possession of me. 18 For I know that nothing good dwells within me, that is, in my flesh. I can will what is right, but I cannot perform it. [I have the intention and urge to do what is right, but no power to carry it out.] 19 For I fail to practice the good deeds I desire to do, but the evil deeds that I do not desire to do are what I am [ever] doing. 20 Now if I do what I do not desire to do, it is no longer I doing it [it is not myself that acts], but the sin [principle] which dwells within me [fixed and operating in my soul]. 21 So I find it to be a law (rule of action of my being) that when I want to do what is right and good, evil is ever present with me and I am subject to its insistent demands. 22 For I endorse and delight in the Law of God in my inmost self [with my new nature]. 23 But I discern in my bodily members [in the sensitive appetites and wills of the flesh] a different law (rule of action) at war against the law of my mind (my reason) and making me a prisoner to the law of sin that dwells in my bodily organs [in the sensitive appetites and wills of the flesh]. 24 O unhappy and pitiable and wretched man that I am! Who will release and deliver me from [the shackles of] this body of death? 25 O thank God! [He will!] through Jesus Christ (the Anointed One) our Lord! So then indeed I, of myself with the mind and heart, serve the Law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin. Romans 7:14-25 AMPC Lifework Assignment: *- 1. Take the time to ask: “Holy Spirit, will You please help me prepare a list of the entryways I have opened—moments where the devil or his demons gained access to my attention, where my heart was influenced by their suggestions, and where I echoed their ill-seeded words—believing they were my own thoughts or genuine feelings?” 2. Then ask, “Holy Spirit, what should I do in each moment when I’ve allowed the items on my list to open a door—so that I receive only Your influence and not a demonic one?” A few items that will help you find YOUR list: moments where the devil or his demons gained access to my attention: When I’m afraid When I decide to figure out what to do before praying where my heart was influenced by their suggestions: When I'm trying to prove my abilities When I fear the influence of people's opinion where I echoed their ill-seeded words—believing they were my own thoughts or genuine feelings: Trying to prove my authority is valid from God Trying to cover up past failures

Make Life Simple Again, Part 4

Nov 23rd, 2025 7:12 PM

In this life-changing sermon, God delivered a word that confronts one of the most ignored but dangerous habits in the church: false repentance. Most people say “I’m sorry” because they fear judgment — not because they genuinely love God. But the Holy Spirit made it clear: Repentance means the LAST time was the LAST time. This is Part 4 of “Make Life Simple Again,” and it will reset how you live, how you repent, how you make decisions, and how you walk with Jesus daily. Subscribe for weekly messages that will strengthen your spirit, sharpen your discernment, and make your walk with God unshakeable. To learn more about The Feast of the Lord, visit us online at www.orangeburgchurch.com Here are the author's notes from this week's message: Make Life Simple Again Part 4 *- Has anything changed about satan, the devil, since he wanted to sift Simon and the disciples as wheat when they were with Jesus? [God] disarmed the principalities and powers that were ranged against us and made a bold display and public example of them, in triumphing over them in Him and in it [the cross]. Colossians 2:15 AMPC 14 Since, therefore, [these His] children share in flesh and blood [in the physical nature of human beings], He [Himself] in a similar manner partook of the same [nature], that by [going through] death He might bring to nought and make of no effect him who had the power of death–that is, the devil– 15 And also that He might deliver and completely set free all those who through the [haunting] fear of death were held in bondage throughout the whole course of their lives. Hebrews 2:14-15 AMPC *- So, how should we view the devil and his demons now that we've been enlightened concerning their current status? 25 Therefore, rejecting all falsity and being done now with it, let everyone express the truth with his neighbor, for we are all parts of one body and members one of another. 26 When angry, do not sin; do not ever let your wrath (your exasperation, your fury or indignation) last until the sun goes down. *- So, how should we view the devil and his demons now that we've been enlightened concerning their current status? 27 Leave no [such] room or foothold for the devil [give no opportunity to him]. *- room / foothold / place (KJV): signals moral ground ceded (having given up power or territory) by anger, bitterness, deceit, etc. Opportunity, power, occasion for acting. *- The devil and his demons don't deserve a moment of our attention, a place to plant even a footprint, or any use of our voices to echo their suggestions, desires, or strategies. When we refuse to grant space in our thoughts, emotions, or speech, we shut doors on each attempt to influence our lives. 28 Let the thief steal no more, but rather let him be industrious, making an honest living with his own hands, so that he may be able to give to those in need. Ephesians 4:25-28 AMPC Lifework Assignment: *- 1. Then ask, “Holy Spirit, what should I do in each moment when I’ve allowed the items on my list to open a door—so that I receive only Your influence and not a demonic one?” A few items that will help you find YOUR list: moments where the devil or his demons gained access to my attention: tired Haven't surrendered my will where my heart was influenced by their suggestions: Not taking the time to find or remember what God already said about the situation When I think the outcome is win or lose where I echoed their ill-seeded words—believing they were my own thoughts or genuine feelings: Desiring to have a testimony of my victory Wanting revenge Expected Behavior: Since satan’s rank, abilities, and influence have decreased deplorably since before Jesus’ resurrection, our response to anything we perceive as negative must change. Once we understand that we must now change our response, we'll begin to approach life with confidence instead of fear. Now that we know the truth—that the devil and his demons have been reduced to a weak and low-power status—our view of ourselves joyfully shifts from timidity and failures to boldness and victory.
