Episode 47: Superman (1978)

This week at The Film Club we conclude our Tribute to Cinematic Heroes month with one of the biggest Heroes of all time. It's not a bird, it's not a plane, it's Superman! That's right we'll be talking about the man of steel himself Superman, specifically the Richard Donner 1978 classic. Superman starring Christopher Reeve follows the story of Clark Kent who was sent to earth as a baby when his home planet of Krypton was destroyed and since his arrival he had to keep his powers secret. It isn't until his adoptive father's tragic death that Clark decides to stop hiding from who he really is. Can Clark maintain a normal life and be a Superhero at the same time?
