TWO WEEKS IN THE MAKING, at long last we can bring you another mammoth episode of "the slick Reel Politik" (Gaby Hinsliff, the Observer). Our topic was Father Ted co-creator Graham Linehan and his sad descent from beloved comedy writer to transphobic Twitter crank, but we didn't get onto that for at least 45 minutes, as we felt obliged to make room for some of our favourite slug MPs (a clue...MIWK!), a discussion of Labour's milquetoast weed policy, clips from our first World Cup commentary and forthcoming Tim Farron play, and an expansion on last week's hate-filled diatribe on the utterly pernicious astroturf enterprise Our Future Our Choice, and their connections to the hated Macron regime and Donald Trump's State Department. We're joined by Alex Moore (@alexdotmoore on Twitter), a witty & clever (and incredibly young) comrade from the fake country of "Northern Ireland", who gives us both Irish and trans perspectives on the Repeal referendum, and how Glinner sought to twist the facts of what happened in aid of his bigoted vendetta against trans people. Lots of slugs get salted. It's good.
