Genevieve's story is a story of hope!
At 16 years old, Genevieve Jeanson was a great cyclist with big dreams. Unfortunately, at that young age, she was pulled into a situation that transformed her life. Doping, abuse, and violence became her reality. She won many races, but eventually, she felt like she was living in a nightmare that she needed to escape, and failing a doping test was, in her own words, "the best thing that could have happened to her" at that time.
15 years later, Genevieve is a strong and inspiring woman. She has overcome obstacles most of us could never imagine living. Genevieve is back riding and racing her bike, tackling gravel events and big adventures, and she's never been happier.
In this episode, Genevieve opens up about how she dealt with the hard experiences of her life, how she bounced back, and how she found her love for cycling all over again. Genevieve is now dedicated to sharing her story She also in order to help other young athletes that may face similar challenges.
