Homeland Security Weekly Update - Aug 9, 2025

In this week's update, we begin with an overview of the tragic shooting at Fort Stewart in Georgia. We then shift over to Friday's shooting on the CDC campus in Atlanta. Police believe the suspect was motivated by a belief he was injured by the COVID-19 vaccine. This incident took place just two days after HHS Secretary pulled research funding for mRNA vaccines because of the dangers they pose. We also take a look the President's decision to deploy federal law enforcement to patrol the streets of Washington, DC.
