If you are not an athlete, fitness competitor, or just EXTREMELY type A… Meal plans are not the answer. When I start working with a new client, they often ask me “am I going to get a meal plan?” To which I reply, “You are going to write your own meal plan.” One of the first things we work on is learning how to track calories accurately using a food scale and coming up with 4 full days of eating that fit their goals based on what we discuss. These 4 days will include snacks, treats, eating out at restaurants, etc.....
