Natalie Pelto became interested in nutrition and lifestyle medicine due to her son's severe, non-verbal autism diagnosis, which became manageable through lifestyle changes.
What started as a mother's concern for her child became an obsession with healthy eating. Since that time, Natalie Pelto has become a nutritionist and co-founder of Blue Life RX, a company focused on promoting plant-based lifestyle medicine.
Natalie transitioned to a plant-based diet after leading detoxes and experiencing the benefits herself. Fast forward to today, Natalie and her business partner, a plant-based physician, are focused on changing the healthcare system by implementing lifestyle medicine.
Their company offers lifestyle medicine services for both adults and children, with a focus on picky eaters. They offer a picky eating course called "Bring the Fun back to Mealtime," which focuses on transitions progressing to nutritional therapy and self-assessment to understand where someone is lacking in nutrition.
