The special issue “Crossing Boundaries: Working and Communicating in East Asia” was conceived with the intent to give a stronger voice to research on business communication practices in East Asian countries. Our goal was to provide a forum for scholarship from this region, the findings of which can and should be incorporated into training programs and operational practices in international business.
