Lanell Lenzkes is former Principal at Foothills Christian Middle School, located near San Diego, CA. Lanell Lenzkes is married to her high school sweetheart, Dr. Brian Lenzkes, who we recently interviewed on our podcast, and her life and career changed drastically when her husband walked away from a financially successful position in a medical practice in order to fulfill a greater purpose helping patients regain their health & reverse obesity & chronic disease.

Dr. Brian Lenzkes is one of the most beloved and well-respected doctors and experts in the low-carb community! Dr. Lenzkes also hosts The Life’s Best Medicine podcast and co-hosts the popular LowCarbMD podcast, both of which Lanell and I have been absolutely honored to be hosted on.

I met Lanell for the first time at the 2024 Symposium for Metabolic Health in San Diego. We had a lovely conversation about her journey with her husband into the unknown, as Dr. Brian Lenzkes began his independent membership-based practices, first in San Diego, under the practice Metabolic Health and Direct Primary Care San Diego, and more recently in Arizona, under the practice Arizona Metabolic Health!
